Intraday Calls

During previous intraday the Nifty moved in a range of 46 points. The Nifty closed 25 points negative at 6308, after making an intraday high and low of 6326 and 6280 respectively. Yesterday, European indices were negative. FTSE was down 15 points, CAC was down 4 points, and DAX was down 37 points. US markets were also down. Dow Jones closed down 130 points, S&P 500 was down 20 points, and Nasdaq was down by 57 points.

On the last trading day, FIIs purchased Rs. 963 crores in cash segment while DIIs sold Rs. 842 crores in cash. FIIs bought Rs. 87 crores in Index futures and FIIs sold Rs. 168 crores of index options. In stock futures FIIs sold Rs. 492 crores and in stock options FIIs purchased Rs. 3 crores.   

Data of Nifty options segment tells that, Nifty 6300 call adds 3 lac shares. Highest OI is at 6500 call with outstanding 53.7 lac shares. Nifty 6200 put adds 5.7 lac shares and 6300 put adds 4.3 lac shares. Highest OI is at 6000 put with 49.9 lac shares.    

Today morning, Asian markets are trading down. Nikkei is down 198 points, Hang Seng is down 82 points Taiwan is down by 36 points and Kospi is down by 12 points. Outstanding trade is Reliance 880 CE bought at Rs.16.70 and revised S L is at Rs. 16.

Today Nifty opened at 6276 down 31 points and made an intraday high of 6286 and low of 6254 till 10:08 a.m. The market has filled its gap which it made on Monday. We can expect a reversal today.
