Intraday Calls

Review of the Last Intraday:

During previous intraday the Nifty made a high of 6325 and low 6259. After making an intraday range of 64 points, the Nifty closed up 40 points at 6314. On the last trading day, European indices were up. FTSE was up 57 points, CAC was up 59 points, and DAX was up by 101 points. US markets were flat to negative. Dow Jones closed down 1.47 points, S&P 500 was down 0.62 points, and Nasdaq was down by 11 points.

FII and DII Activity in Last Intraday:

Yesterday, FIIs bought Rs. 296 crores in cash segment whereas DIIs sold Rs. 160 crores in cash. FIIs bought Rs. 285 crores in Index futures and FIIs purchased Rs. 301 crores in index options. In stock futures FIIs purchased Rs. 36 crores and in stock options FIIs bought Rs. 6 crores.   

Options Segment Activity:

In Nifty options segment, Nifty 6500 call adds 6.3 lac shares and 6400 call adds 4 lac shares. Nifty 6500 call have the highest OI at 38 lac shares while highest OI of 32 lac shares is at Nifty 6200 put. Bulls sold 6.4 lac shares in 6300 put.   

Currency Market:

In the currency market the USDINR closed at 61.92. The INR was strong by 0.24 paisa.

Beginning of the Day:

Today morning, Asian markets are trading positive. Nikkei is up 57 points, Hang Seng is up 118 points, Taiwan is up by 42 points and Kospi is up by 1 point. Here you can find latest detail on world market indices along with intraday charts. SGX Nifty is trading 12 points positive till 7:04 a.m. So we can expect a flat opening.

Today market opened at 6336 up 23 points and made an intraday high of 6344 and low of 6287 till 9:40 a.m. The market started falling after opening strong.

Nifty is at 6300 down 13 points. Nifty made an intraday high of 6344 and low of 6287 till 1:07 p.m. Top gainers for Nifty are BHEL, COALINDIA, and GAIL whereas losers are DLF, INFY, and RANBAXY. Intraday Options Data:
