Intraday Calls

Review of the Last Intraday:

During previous intraday the Nifty moved in a range of 33 points. The Share Bazaar closed 10 points positive at 6313, after making an intraday high and low of 6330 and 6297 respectively. Yesterday, European indices were mix. FTSE was down 2 points, CAC was up 1 point, and DAX was up 14 points. US markets were mix. Dow Jones closed down 44 points, S&P 500 was up 5 points, and Nasdaq was up by 28 points.

FII and DII Activity in Last Intraday:

On the last trading day, FIIs sold Rs. 44 crores in cash segment while DIIs purchased Rs. 182 crores in cash. FIIs bought Rs. 64 crores in Index futures and FIIs sold Rs. 59 crores in index options. In stock futures FIIs sold Rs. 79 crores and in stock options FIIs sold Rs. 119 crores. This is the provisional data from NSE. Here you can view final data from SEBI. 

Options Segment Activity:

In f&o market, January series options data tells that, Nifty 6400 call adds 4.8 lac shares. Nifty 6200 put sheds 5.1 lac shares. Highest OI of 48 lac shares is at 6300 call and 66 lac shares is at 6200 put. According to options data, Bulls/bears activity is muted. 

  

Currency Market:

In the currency market the USDINR closed at 61.88. The INR was weak by 0.26 paisa.

Beginning of the Day:

Today morning, Asian markets are trading mix. Nikkei is up 3 points, Hang Seng is down 99 points, Taiwan is up by 18 points and Kospi is down by 2 point. Today Nifty opened at 6309 negative 5 points and made an intraday high of 6309 and low of 6287 till 9:49 a.m. The market may remain little low.
