Intraday Calls

Review of the Last Intraday:

During previous intraday the Nifty made a high of 6163 and low 6086. After making an intraday range of 77 points, the Share Bazaar closed down 9 points at 6126. On the last trading day, European indices were up. FTSE was up 22 points, CAC was up 41 point, and DAX was up 58 points. US markets were up. Dow Jones closed up 91 points, S&P 500 was up 11 points, and Nasdaq was up by 14 points.

FII and DII Activity in Last Intraday:

Yesterday, FIIs sold Rs. 1267 crores in cash segment while DIIs bought Rs. 1179 crores in cash. FIIs bought Rs. 16 crores in Index futures and FIIs sold Rs. 276 crores in index options. In stock futures FIIs sold Rs. 262 crores and in stock options FIIs sold Rs. 52 crores. This is the provisional data from NSE. Here you can view final data from SEBI.

Options Segment Activity:

In f&o market, January series options data tells that, Nifty 6100 call adds 12.2 lac shares. Nifty 6050 put adds 3.2 lac shares and 6000 put adds 6.9 lac shares. Maximum 56.2 lac shares are outstanding at 6300 call and 49.2 lac shares at 6000 put. According to options data, bears have upper hand on bulls.

Currency Market:
In the currency market the USDINR closed at 62.51. The INR was strong by 0.59 paisa.

Beginning of the Day:

Today morning, Asian markets are trading positive. Nikkei is up 256 points, Hang Seng is up 208 points, and Kospi is up by 12 points. Today Nifty opened at 6161 up 34 points and made an intraday high of 6170 and low of 6151 till 10:13 a.m. The market may lose its gain.
