Intraday Calls

Review of the Last Intraday:

During previous intraday the Nifty made a high of 6082 and low 6027. After making an intraday range of 55 points, the Share Bazaar closed down 46 points at 6073. On the last trading day, European indices were mix. FTSE was down 6 points, CAC was up 23 point, and DAX was up 37 points. US markets were up. Dow Jones closed up 110 points, S&P 500 was up 20 points, and Nasdaq was up by 72 points.

FII and DII Activity in Last Intraday:

Yesterday, FIIs sold Rs. 430 crores in cash segment while DIIs bought Rs. 132 crores in cash. FIIs sold Rs. 889 crores in Index futures and FIIs bought Rs. 2480 crores in index options. In stock futures FIIs bought Rs. 119 crores and in stock options FIIs sold Rs. 7 crores. This is the provisional data from NSE. Here you can view final data from SEBI.

Options Segment Activity:

In f&o market, February series options data tells that, Nifty 6100 call adds 11.3 lac shares. Nifty 6000 put adds 8.4 lac shares. Maximum 30.8 lac shares are outstanding at 6300 call and 48 lac shares at 6000 put. According to options data, bears have upper hand on bulls.

Currency Market:
In the currency market the USDINR closed at 62.56. The INR was weak by 0.16 paisa.

Beginning of the Day:

Today morning, Asian markets are trading flat. Nikkei is up 14 points. Other Asian markets are closed. Here you can find latest detail on world market indices along with intraday charts. SGX Nifty is trading 8 points positive till 7:16 a.m. So we can expect a flat opening.

Today Nifty opened at 6082 up 9 points and made an intraday high of 6095 and low of 6068 till 10:05 a.m. The market may go a little down and then recover.
