Intraday Calls

Review of the Last Intraday:

During previous intraday the Nifty made a high of 6307 and low 6243. After making an intraday range of 64 points, the Share Bazaar closed up 42 points at 6304. On the last trading day, European indices were mix. FTSE was up 7 points, CAC was down 4 points, and DAX was down 27 points. US markets were closed.

FII and DII Activity in Last Intraday:

Yesterday, FIIs bought Rs. 385 crores in cash segment while DIIs sold Rs. 310 crores in cash. FIIs sold Rs. 101 crores in Index futures and FIIs sold Rs. 443 crores in index options. In stock futures FIIs bought Rs. 231 crores and in stock options FIIs sold Rs. 72 crores. This is the provisional data from NSE. Here you can view final data from SEBI.

Options Segment Activity:

In f&o market, January series options data tells that, Nifty 6400 call sheds 7 lac shares and 6300 call sheds 3.2 lac shares. Nifty 6300 put adds 18.4 lac shares and 6200 put adds 15.5 lac shares. Maximum 49 lac shares are outstanding at 6300 call and 71 lac shares at 6200 put. According to options data, bulls have upper hand on bears.  

Currency Market:
In the currency market the USDINR closed at 61.62. The INR was weak by 0.08 paisa.

Beginning of the Day:

Today morning, Asian markets are trading positive. Nikkei is up 180 points, Hang Seng is up 74 points, Taiwan is up by 2 points and Kospi is up by 3 points. Here you can find latest detail on world market indices along with intraday charts. SGX Nifty is trading 4 points positive till 7:11 a.m. So we can expect a flat opening.

Today Nifty opened at 6320 up 16 points and made an intraday high of 6324 and low of 6304 till 9:40 a.m. The market may turn weak.

Mid-day Review:

Nifty is at 6313 up 9 points. Nifty made an intraday high of 6330 and low of 6297 till 1:12 p.m. Top gainers for Nifty are TATAMOTORS, ICICIBANK, and JPASSOCIAT whereas losers are ASIANPAINT, BPCL, and KOTAKBANK. Intraday Options Data:
On the options front, Nifty 6400 call adds 8.9 lac shares. Nifty 6200 put sheds 4.1 lac shares. According to intraday data of options, Nifty 6200 put and 6300 call have the highest OI. Full detail of Nifty options can be viewed here.

Nifty has made an intraday high of 6330 and low of 6297 till 2:57 p.m. Intraday options data tells that, Nifty 6400 call adds 8.6 lac shares and 6300 call adds 3.7 lac shares. Nifty 6200 put sheds 3.8 lac shares and 6300 put adds 4.3 lac shares. Highest OI is at 6300 call at 53 lac shares and 6200 put at 67 lac shares.
