Intraday Calls

Review of the Last Intraday:

During previous intraday the Nifty made a high of 6358 and low 6211. After making an intraday range of 147 points, the Share Bazaar closed down 80 points at 6221. On the last trading day, European indices were down. FTSE was down 31 points, CAC was down 69 points, and DAX was down 152 points. US markets were negative. Dow Jones closed down 135 points, S&P 500 was down 16 points, and Nasdaq was down by 34 points.

FII and DII Activity in Last Intraday:

Yesterday, FIIs bought Rs. 674 crores in cash segment whereas DIIs sold Rs. 190 crores in cash. FIIs sold Rs. 26 crores in Index futures and FIIs purchased Rs. 396 crores in index options. In stock futures FIIs sold Rs. 89 crores and in stock options FIIs sold Rs. 73 crores.   

Options Segment Activity:

In f&o market, January series options data tells that, Nifty 6500 call adds 4.1 lac shares and 6300 call adds 6.9 lac shares. 6500 call have the highest OI at 50.4 lac shares. 6300 put sheds 5.6 lac shares. 6200 put have maximum 36.8 lac shares outstanding. Bears have upper hand on bulls.  

Currency Market:

In the currency market the USDINR closed at 62.26. The INR was weak by 0.36 paisa.

Beginning of the Day:

Today morning, Asian markets are trading negative. Nikkei is closed, Hang Seng is down 276 points, Taiwan is down by 38 points and Kospi is down by 15 points. Today Nifty opened at 6194 down 26 points and made an intraday high of 6209 and low of 6178 till 9:30 a.m. We can expect a volatile day.

Nifty is at 6179 down 43 points. Nifty made an intraday high of 6209 and low of 6173 till 12:58 p.m. Top gainers for Nifty are TCS, INFY, and KOTAKBANK whereas losers are TATAPOWER, M&M, and BPCL. Intraday Options Data:
