Intraday Calls

Review of the Last Intraday:

During previous intraday the Nifty made a high of 6083 and low 6046. After making an intraday range of 37 points, the Share Bazaar closed down 10 points at 6053. On the last trading day, European indices were mix. FTSE was up 20 points, CAC was up 9 point, and DAX was down 12 points. US markets were up. Dow Jones closed up 8 points, S&P 500 was up 3 points, and Nasdaq was up by 22 points.

FII and DII Activity in Last Intraday:

Yesterday, FIIs sold Rs. 455 crores in cash segment while DIIs bought Rs. 295 crores in cash. FIIs bought Rs. 53 crores in Index futures and FIIs sold Rs. 573 crores in index options. In stock futures FIIs bought Rs. 18 crores and in stock options FIIs sold Rs. 14 crores. This is the provisional data from NSE. Here you can view final data from SEBI.

Options Segment Activity:

In f&o market, February series options data tells that, Nifty 6100 call adds 6 lac shares. Nifty 6000 put adds 5 lac shares. Maximum 64.6 lac shares are outstanding at 6200 call and 88.4 lac shares at 6000 put. According to options data, bulls/bears activity is muted.

Currency Market:
In the currency market the USDINR closed at 62.42. The INR was strong by 0.14 paisa.

Beginning of the Day:

Today morning, Asian markets are trading positive. Nikkei is closed, Hang Seng is up 138 points, Taiwan is up by 28 points, and Kospi is up by 3 points. Today Nifty opened at 6072 up 19 points and made an intraday high of 6080 and low of 6053 till 9:46 a.m. Today the market should move in a small range.

Mid-day Review:

Nifty is at 6065 up 12 points. Nifty made an intraday high of 6081 and low of 6053 till 12:59 p.m. Top gainers for Nifty are HCLTECH, TATAMOTORS, and ONGC whereas losers are PNB, HINDALCO, and HEROMOTOCO. Intraday Options Data:
