Intraday Calls

Review of the Last Intraday:

During previous intraday the Nifty moved in a range of 29 points. The Share Bazaar closed 9 points positive at 6063, after making an intraday high and low of 6082 and 6053 respectively. Yesterday, European indices were up. FTSE was up 81 points, CAC was up 46 points, and DAX was up 189 points. US markets were up. Dow Jones closed up 193 points, S&P 500 was up 20 points, and Nasdaq was up by 43 points.

FII and DII Activity in Last Intraday:

On the last trading day, FIIs sold Rs. 165 crores in cash segment while DIIs bought Rs. 242 crores in cash. FIIs sold Rs. 534 crores in Index futures and FIIs bought Rs. 90 crores in index options. In stock futures FIIs purchased Rs. 260 crores and in stock options FIIs sold Rs. 15 crores. This is the provisional data from NSE. Here you can view final data from SEBI. 

Options Segment Activity:

In f&o market, February series options data tells that, Nifty 6100 call adds 4.2 lac shares and Nifty 6200 call adds 3.7 lac shares. Nifty 6000 put adds 2.9 lac shares. Highest OI of 66 lac shares is at 6200 call and 90 lac shares is at 6000 put. According to options data, bulls/bears activity is muted.

  

Currency Market:

In the currency market the USDINR closed at 62.22. The INR was strong by 0.20 paisa.

Beginning of the Day:

Today morning, Asian markets are trading up. Nikkei is up 104 points, Hang Seng is up 75 points Taiwan is up by 51 points, and Kospi is up by 3 points. Today Nifty opened at 6085 up 23 points and made an intraday high of 6103 and low of 6080 till 10:12 a.m. Today Nifty should complete its bounce back and from tomorrow it should resume its down trend.
