Intraday Calls

Review of the Last Intra-day:

During previous intraday the Nifty made a high of 6627 and low 6580. After making an intraday range of 47 points, the Share Bazaar closed up 11 points at 6601. On the last trading day, European indices were up. FTSE was up 0.41 points, CAC was up 41 point, and DAX was up 110 points. US markets were mix. Dow Jones closed down 99 points, S&P 500 was down 13 points, and Nasdaq was down by 61 points.

FII and DII Activity in Last Intraday:

Yesterday, FIIs bought Rs. 1005 crores in cash segment while DIIs sold Rs. 356 crores in cash. FIIs bought Rs. 885 crores in Index futures and FIIs bought Rs. 903 crores in index options. In stock futures FIIs sold Rs. 554 crores and in stock options FIIs sold Rs. 89 crores. This is the provisional data from NSE. Here you can view final data from SEBI.

Options Segment Activity:

In f&o market, March series options data tells that, Nifty 6600 call sheds 9.9 lac shares and Nifty 6650 call add 11.8 lac shares. Nifty 6650 put adds 10 lac shares. Maximum 66.2 lac shares are outstanding at 6700 call and 62.9 lac shares at 6400 put. According to options data, bulls and bears have undecided level of 6600 for the f&o expiry.

Currency Market:
In the currency market the USDINR closed at 60.14. The INR was strong by 0.34 paisa.

Beginning of the Day:

Today morning, Asian markets are trading mix. Nikkei is down 184 points, Hang Seng is down 32 points, Taiwan is up by 13 points, and Kospi is up by 2 points. Here you can find latest detail on world market indices along with intraday charts. SGX Nifty is trading 12 points positive till 7:08 a.m. So we can expect a flat opening. 

BTST for the day is BANKNIFTY Future, bought at 12532 with stop loss of 12490 and a target of 12640.

Today Nifty opened at 6613 up 12 points and made an intra-day high of 6638 and low of 6599 till 10:27 a.m. Today is the expiry of March f&o series. So we can expect volatility.

For the intraday, till 1:36 p.m. Nifty is up about 35 points. Top gainers for Nifty are IDFC, PNB, and SBIN while losers are DRREDDY, SUNPHARMA, and GRASIM. Intraday Options Data:

Nifty has made an intraday high of 6673 and low of 6599 till 3:06 p.m. Intraday options data tells that, Nifty 6650 call adds 23.3 lac shares. Nifty 6650 put adds 30 lac shares.
